Neil is a Certified Fraud Examiner (an organization based in the US) and a Certified Public Accountant. He graduated from the University of the Philippines and since then worked with Sycip Gorres Velayo & Co. (SGV-Ernst and Young International) as Associate Manager in Assurance and Business Advisory, Business Process Risk Consultant and Fraud Auditor for over seven (7) years. He also had a short stint with Punongbayan & Araullo as auditor.

He is an awardees during the 53rd anniversary (June 1998) of SGV with the following citations:

"For exhibiting the highest degree of professional skepticism, intense commitment to responsibility, good judgment and integrity in the discovery of a major fraud in an audit engagement. For the resolution of the fraud which earned SGV even more respect and confidence from the client's shareholders and management. For his willingness to go that "extra mile" for either client or peers by undertaking and assuming additional responsibilities."

Neil has extensive experience in business process outsourcing, external auditing, business process risk review, tax planning and related services, business fraud audit, accounting systems design and implementation, and bookkeeping and accounting. He serviced multinational and local companies in the manufacturing and trading (retail), real estate and construction, mining, insurance and pre-need plans, investment houses and securities brokers, hotel and restaurant, non-profit organizations and other industries. His is experienced in accounting systems software and conducts trainings for implementation and use of software.
